When you successfully provided the valid linkedin credentials, you will receive the authorization code to obtain the access token and that access token can use to get the profile details. REDIRECTION_URL is used to get the authorization code. if you get the access by providing valid credentials, You will receive the authorization code as a suffix of the REDIRECTION_URL. That URL needs to config in LinkedIn Developer Console.
